Dim Do Duc Pro Dim Sum at New World Park

This new restaurant in New World Park serves traditional handmade dim sum.

Dim Do Duc Pro Dim Sum at New World Park, Burmah Road, Penang - @peikc

We would say the foods here is as traditional as it gets for a dim sum restaurant, though it is slightly on the more pricey side. But you’ll be sitting in a fully air-conditioned restaurant while enjoying the freshly steamed hot dim sum.

Dim Do Duc has been around in Penang for awhile now; with branches in Air Itam and Relau.

The restaurant in New World Park is their latest addition.

It is the premium version of what they are already offering in their different outlets.

The restaurant comes with better dining experience as the interior is much more spaced out and fully air-conditioned.

Steamed Chee Cheong Fun

Food options here includes handmade dumplings, salted egg custard buns, deep fried dishes, radish cake, and cheong fun(steamed rice noodle rolls), like most of what you'd normally find at dim sum places.

The Pork Lard Noodle is one of a particularly interesting dish.

Signature Pork Lard Noodle - @amyyyfoodieland

It's basically wan tan mee alike noodle tossed with soy sauce, pork lard oil and pieces of deep fried pork lards.

Overall, the traditional handmade dim sum dishes were alright.

If you're looking for a comfortable dining place to spend quality time with friends and family, this place is definitely a good choice; despite the higher price tag.
