Wai Kee Char Siew at Chulia Street, Penang -

If you're a fan of tender melt-in-your-mouth caramelized pork, this place right here is highly recommended!

Wai Kee Char Siew is located at a corner shop under the budget Sky Hotel, which is a junction of Chulia street and Jalan Masjid.

This stall has the best barbecue caramelized pork to die for!

A word of advice: You need to be there earlier than their business hour if you don't want to be dissapointed. Although now they operate for lunch and dinner, the crowds did not grow lesser.

We went there during lunch hour, and had to wait for a good 30 minutes before our turn. By then, some of the customer had even missed the charsiew as it was sold out.

Normally, the regulars would order a plate of mixed charsiew, roasted pork and a plate of green vege. But if you're looking for more add-ons, there are also roasted duck and steamed chicken.

So in case you needed more meats for the day, do try them out!
